Michela Iwanski, Office Coordinator, graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, along with minors in Communication Studies and Sociology. She has experience teaching children and has worked with aging adults, individuals with developmental and physical disabilities, and those navigating mental health and medical concerns.
As Office Coordinator, Michela’s top priority is creating a positive experience for every person who walks through the door. She is passionate about fostering an environment where people feel heard, valued, and welcomed. From the very first interaction, she strives to provide exceptional service by scheduling evaluations and treatments that fit each patient’s needs, verifying insurance benefits, obtaining prior authorizations, gathering medical documentation, assisting with paperwork, and communicating effectively with patients, providers, and the clinical team.
Michela’s support extends well beyond the initial visit. She remains a reliable resource throughout each patient’s course of treatment. Behind the scenes, she also helps keep the clinic running smoothly by organizing front office operations, processing payments and payment plans, generating reports to support quality care, coordinating office events and continuing education opportunities, and developing marketing materials.
Outside the clinic, Michela enjoys reading, sewing, crocheting, watercolor painting, and hosting game nights with family and friends. Most often, she is spending time with her husband, Joe, their two cats, Mavis and Major Tom, and their three chickens, Dolly Parton, June Carter Cash, and Loretta Lynn.
