I cannot express strongly enough my appreciation, gratitude, and respect for Nick Reiss, DPT, owner of Complete Physical Therapy. Multiple at home and work injuries - call me clumsy - in addition to bilateral total knee replacements, left me with a long list of therapists and clinics at which I received rehabilitative services. I was then referred to Complete Physical Therapy. I am so impressed with all the front end and clinical staff. From my initial assessment to identify current limitations, and conversation to identify goals, I felt completely at ease. More importantly, everyone took the time to get to know me, not just as a patient, but as a unique person, with a life history and future plans. I can report with total certainty that I will never go anywhere but CPT for any future therapy and rehab needs; I can also quite happily report that I am nearly through with scheduled sessions, and am eager to return to my busy life: family, grandchildren, community, and a rewarding career - at better than ever levels of functionality.

Vince was extremely helpful and provided great insights towards my recovery process. I had seen two other PT's at other offices, but Vince was able to pinpoint the cause of my issues. The people at Complete Physical Therapy genuinely care about you and the best possible way for you to begin your recovery.

I highly recommend Complete Physical Therapy. Vince's personalized physical therapy plan was very encouraging, highly educational and the results have exceeded my expectations. We went beyond just recovery to a healthy plan for the future. Thank you Vince.

In July 2018 I began working with the fantastic staff at Complete Physical Therapy after tearing both of my ACLs. The main therapists I worked with were Vince and Ally. Let me tell you they are knowledgeable, personable, and able to work with me at the current level of activity I was capable of performing. They are excellent at being able educate and inspire me to work toward my ultimate goal of getting back to work as an RN. It was challenging at times physically and mentally and they were able to take that into consideration when planning my daily home therapy. One of my favorite aspects of therapy was being educated on what exercises were strengthening which muscle groups and how the body reacts and relearns it’s normal functions like balance. If I am ever in need of physical therapy again in the future I definitely know from experience this is the place to go!

Complete Physical Therapy is phenomenal! As a 43 year old Army officer whose daily routine includes weightlifting and other fitness activities, I was desperate to restore functionality to my knee, shoulder, and deal with significant tendinitis. My therapist, Vince, brought a wealth of knowledge and an aggressive treatment plan that completely fixed my ailments, as well as taught me a variety of techniques that have improved my overall strength and fitness. Professional and extraordinarily knowledgeable, I cannot provide a stronger recommendation.

I had physical therapy with Phil, Vince and Amanda though a period of two months (2018 & 2019). I had physical therapy with other therapists when I was younger and had NO RESULTS so I was very "leary" about going doing and physical therapy of any kind, HOWEVER, I can honestly say these PT's are the BEST. I would not be walking pain FREE if it were not for these wonderful people & their staff. They were one on one and very patient and very knowledgeable. I had a broken pelvis and after 8 weeks of healing and not being able to walk, stoop or bend they made all this possible again. Thank You Complete Physical Therapy Julie Simonds February 11, 2019
I'm in my 50's and fairly active. Biking, spin cycling, free weights, etc. I started to have some pain in both shoulders and was eventually diagnosed with two frozen shoulders. My primary care physician prescribed physical therapy. Until then, I had never had a reason to go to a physical therapist and feeling rather smug about it. Honestly, I had half a notion to just tough it out and work on getting better with my own gym and home routines. After a period of a couple of weeks it was clear that the pain was not getting any better.
I have two family members who are in the medical profession here in Lincoln, one of which works at a pediatric physical therapy office and I often confer with them when I need a health care professional. They both recommended I try to see Nick Reiss at Complete Physical Therapy.
I had heard and read from several sources that a frozen shoulder is one of the most painful things to overcome and some people reported needing therapy for several years. Because I had two frozen shoulders, I was a bit nervous about what was ahead.
From the beginning to the end (approx 4 months)....Nick and his team of professionals were attentive to my every need. My appointments always started on time, were filled with a variety of activities, never repetitive, and always productive. I was continually impressed with their ability to read my level of comfort and also in finding those trigger points that needed the most work. I felt like I was listened to and always supported no matter what mood I was in when I arrived. I had some accountability too. At the end of each appointment I was given an assignment of work to do at home and was asked about my progress on my next appointment. We were all working on the same goal.
I might also add that there was a certain amount of personal 'bedside manner'. The team took time to get to know me and would ask me about things that were important in my life. This conversation was often a great distraction to any of the exercises that we might be doing that were uncomfortable/painful for me.
With out a doubt I would highly recommend Complete Physical Therapy to anyone needing a knowledgeable team of professionals. I consistently felt so much better after my sessions and honestly couldn't wait to get there because I knew that I had some hard work to do but also knew that I was in very good hands.

I was successfully released today from Physical Therapy. I was referred by my doctor because I was walking with a limp and could not seem to bounce back after surgery in January and a subsequent low back injury that settled in my right hip and leg, impairing my ability to walk without pain and the limp. By the time I was referred the pain had subsided somewhat but I had some very bad walking habits that were negatively affecting my body.
I worked one on one with either Amberly Byington or Debbie Dugan. They were a wonderful team providing me with guidance in how to strengthen my back and right hip and lower right side of my body. They taught me corrective movements and exercises to do in gradual increments in a way that I could tolerate without becoming overwhelmed or discouraged and that had the wonderful benefit of strengthening those areas. They were both so respectful and encouraging as they took me through each movement and patiently worked with me until I understood the exercise enough to do it on my own.
Each session lasted a full hour which gave me plenty of time to become familiar with what I was being taught that day as I practiced each movement several times. I also had time to ask questions and both Amberly and Debbie were good in explaining the body mechanics and rationale for why each exercise was important and how it would help me.Over the weeks that I worked with them and did follow-up work at home I started to feel stronger; my walking began to improve and I am no longer dealing with the pain and restrictions I had when I began the work. I find that I even have more energy. I didn’t realize until I began to feel better how much energy it was taking to navigate my body in its compromised state.
Amberly and Debbie provided positive encouragement in a supportive, non-judgmental and friendly atmosphere that helped me feel comfortable about trying new things. I learned so much from them and feel so grateful for the gift of the therapy and guidance these two wonderful therapists provided. Thanks to their expertise, I have my body back and have learned some effective ways to continue to strengthen it and keep it strong.

Complete Physical Therapy helped me get my life back! When I began my physical therapy I was about as low as I could go, but with their concern and encouragement I not only regained my physical strength, but my emotional strength as well. I highly recommend Nick and the rest of the physical therapist at Complete Physical Therapy. They work as a team and help you get back to your normal life.

After having knee replacement surgery, I knew I needed a highly skilled physical therapist who would
give me the best possible treatment. I spoke with several friends who had used various physical
therapists, but one of my good friends' recommendations of Nick stood out from the rest. Even though
he is located on the other side of town from where I live, he is so good that the distance became
unimportant. I realize there are qualified physical therapists in my area, but the ones I had worked with
in the past didn't seem as knowledgeable or dedicated as Nick. Nick knows how to give his clients the
best of what they need to get better. I will sing his praises to anyone in need of physical therapy.Nick, along with his employees, is friendly, caring, helpful, and always encouraging. His goal is to get his
clients back to leading a normal life that includes the activities they enjoy. I was thrilled to be able to
attend Husker baseball games again last season which I hadn't been able to do the previous year.I enjoyed my time with Nick very much. He made working hard to improve a pleasure.

After a total knee replacement, Renee Dominy helped me assess my current situation and set goals for where I wanted to be after physical therapy was finished. She set up a plan of graduated exercises, following closely what had been done in the hospital, then increasing in motion and scope. Her knowledge of how the body works and her clear explanations of why each exercise was important aided my understanding of what needed to be done to get back to a more normal life. She had to deal with other issues as well, such as pain in other areas, that forced modifications to the exercises. She asked how I felt each session, and her listening skills and modifications kept the progress going each session. No matter how I felt before the sessions, I always felt better afterwards.
Careful attention to detail marks Renee's style. Measurements are taken regularly, and documentation occurs every session. Progress is evident from the documented items and her constant encouragement helps keep things going in positive directions. When exercising, she monitors with a watchful eye to ensure proper technique for the utmost benefit. Her explanations of how to do the exercises at home include how to watch for improper technique and correct it immediately. She also questions if an exercise is too hard right now, and listens to what you say before continuing or changing.
The entire staff at Complete Physical Therapy works as a team. Friendliness, helpfulness and professionalism are evident in everything they do, from scheduling weeks in advance to billing explanations to the physical therapy. I would recommend Complete Physical Therapy to anyone needing these types of services, and highly recommend Renee as a partner in your rehabilitation process.

"In January, 2012, I had surgery for a very mangled rotator cuff. After three weeks of immobilization, I went to Nick for physical therapy. My shoulder was weak and stiff, and movement was painful. I was afraid: Would rehab hurt? Would I regain full use of my arm and shoulder? I knew rotator cuff rehab was difficult.
Nick immediately put me at ease. He’s incredibly kind, personable, and really knows his stuff. I’m an information junkie – I like to know all the details and understand the process. Using the surgeon’s notes and a model, Nick explained the damage and how it had been repaired. I was taught clearly how to do my exercises and what each was designed to do. When I used improper technique, or took a short cut, he noticed and gently corrected me.
I ask a lot of questions. Why does this make a popping sound? Is it OK if I do this? What's this bump – is that normal? I could always ask. And every time, every time, Nick treated my question with respect and explained what was going on.
Some aspects of physical therapy are painful – there’s no way around saying that. How do you get a patient to return time and time again, and continue to do the exercises at home, in spite of the pain? Nick listened and understood. During especially tough rehab moments, he was willing to wait until I was comfortable again before he continued. When I was discouraged, Nick encouraged and reassured me. He celebrated each improvement right along with me.
Nine months later, I have almost full use of my arm. Nick explained it will take another few months, but full use is possible. After nearly 15 years of limitations, then the struggles after surgery, I’m thrilled with all I can do now.
Nick' professional skills are exceptional, but what impressed me the most was his caring and understanding. He took the time to educate me and make me a partner in my recovery. He nurtured the trust that is so essential for treatment. And I saw him do that for every patient in the room, every time I was there, for nine months!
Part psychologist, part cheerleader. Super physical therapist. A trusted friend.
Thank you, Nick, for the best medical care I've ever had!"

"Nick Reiss is an extremely talented physical therapist who listens to and works with his patients/clients to achieve THEIR goals. Nick is passionate about his work, going above and beyond every day to inspire his patients and give back to the profession of physical therapy. I would recommend Nick Reiss as a physical therapist of choice to anyone, including my family members."

"I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to recommend Nick to a friend or loved one who needs physical therapy. In my case, he not only provided immediate relief from my pain but he taught me the source of my problem and worked with me on strategies to prevent it from reoccurring. And if you're going to spend several hours a week with a person, they better have a great personality and Nick certainly fits that description. I can't speak more highly of the Complete Physical Therapy staff – so incredibly friendly and attentive – or the facility that is bright, clean and filled with the latest equipment. If I ever need PT again, I'll be back to see Nick and his staff."

"I have had two great experiences with the therapists at Complete Physical Therapy. Both of the therapists were very caring, passionate, professional and knowledgeable.
Initially, I worked with Anya on some tightness I was experiencing with my chest and arm after a surgery. It only took a few appointments to eliminate the tightness and relieve my pain. Anya used her knowledge about lymphedema to thoroughly answer all of my questions.
I also worked with Kevin on back pain. I was very impressed with his expertise, and the individual attention given to address and alleviate my pain. He explained in great detail why I was doing each exercise; and demonstrated how to correctly perform them at home. He made sure I understood and did each exercise correctly before dismissing me.
The staff and therapists at Complete Physical Therapy are awesome and I would recommend them to my family and friends."

Though I have not completed my time with them, I am at a point where I want to write this note of encouragement to anyone looking for a physical therapist. I was referred to Complete Physical Therapy by my surgeon. From my first appointment, I knew it was a good choice.
The facility is clean, pleasant, and easily accessible. Every single member of the staff is professional, courteous, and efficient.Kevin Robinson is...superb. His manner, communication skills, and physical work are excellent. I always understand our therapy plan and goals. He is patient, gentle, encouraging, and understanding. Upon completion of his plan for me, I will be stronger than before my injury.
Without hesitation, I will recommend Kevin ~ and Complete Physical Therapy.
