Allison McNeal earned her Associate of Science Degree in the Physical Therapist Assistant Program from Mercy College of Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa. She graduated in April of 2016 with High Honors.
Prior to becoming a Physical Therapist Assistant, Allison was a student-athlete at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Her experience competing as a Husker Volleyball player helped shape her passion for health, fitness, and wellness. During her time as a Husker athlete, Allison earned All-Big 12 and Big 10 Academic Honors, as well as, the 2012 Big 10 Sportsmanship Award.
After she graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Education and Human Sciences, Allison became an elementary teacher and high school volleyball coach. Because of her background, Allison values the importance of effective communication, compassion, and patience when working with others.
Allison has clinical experience working in acute care, outpatient, and neurological based settings, and has an interest in orthopedic rehabilitation. Her active lifestyle keeps her very goal oriented and passionate about helping people of all ages live healthier, happier lives. Allison will be working alongside Nick Reiss, PT, DPT and Amanda Aksamit, PTA during our later clinic hours and is excited to continue learning new ways to help her patients achieve their goals.
