Allison McNeal earned her Associate of Science Degree in the Physical Therapy Program from Mercy College of Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa. She graduated in April of 2016 with High Honors.
Prior to becoming a Physical Therapist Assistant, Allison was a student athlete at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Her experience competing as a Husker Volleyball player has helped shape her passion for health, fitness, and wellness. In May of 2018 she became credentialed as a NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Allison looks forward to using her proficiency as a PTA in conjunction with the knowledge obtained through her CSCS to help patients return back to sports and exercise following injury.
Allison is trained to analyze movement patterns, as well as educate patients how to use proper mechanics with exercise to address areas of weakness and avoid further injury. Her active lifestyle keeps her very goal oriented and passionate about helping people of all ages live healthier, happier lives. She has a highlighted interest in orthopedic and post-surgical rehabilitation, as well as injury prevention for the young athlete.
